# Credits

gptengineer.app uses credits and subscriptions to manage usage.

## Each successful edit consumes one credit

Different plans have different amounts of credits per day:

* **Free Plan**:
  * 10 free edits per day
  * To let you try out the service

* **Pro Plan**:
  * \$20/month subscription
  * 100 daily edits included

If generation fails, the edit is not counted.
